WHAT TO CHECK FOR IF MY MOTOR MOUNT FOR MY STEALTH BOAT DOES NOT FIT.

Make sure you have the correct motor mount for the boat you have, the Stealth 1200 and the Stealth 2000 have different design motor mounts, the hardware (j-hooks & wing nuts are the same) if the mount doesn’t fit on the boat it may be not attached correctly or the incorrect motor mount. If you determined the motor mount is correct and the j-hooks are not long enough use a rubber mallet to tap the mount far enough so the front j hook is protruding thru the top hole. Once the wing nut is started and tightened down it will pull the mount down onto the boat enough that the back j-hook can be started.
