Ever since my father took me along on my first hunt at the age of 5 and I saw the geese come in, I was hooked. Now, 25 years later, every time a flock commits, and I see them locked up and coming in, I get the same rush of adrenaline as I did so many years ago. The best part of the year for me is the ten plus weeks a year I get to spend with back home in Wisconsin with Pops, out in the duck blind. A few years back we purchased a Beavertail blind, followed by a long tail mud motor a year or so later. We didn’t get anywhere fast, but we tucked into some of the best spots and made some of my fondest memories. I enjoy sharing my passion for the outdoors and learning from both seasoned and youth hunters. I am a tech nerd, but nothing beats a sunrise coming up over a spread of decoys and hearing that first shot of the morning. I am looking forward to this next year as we are purchasing a brand new custom Beavertail duck boat. We will now have the much-needed room to take out friends and family with us, along with my new Chocolate Lab pup, Elli.
