Born and raised in Corvallis, Oregon on my family’s 750 acre grass seed farm. I shot my first duck, a drake wigeon, when I was nine years old. When I wasn’t operating some kind of farm equipment, I was hunting and fishing. I credit my passion/obsession with hunting and fishing to my father, grandfather and uncle who in each of their own ways made me the hunter and guide that I am today. After graduating from Oregon State University in 2009 with a degree in Agriculture Business, I returned to the family farming operation to get my final hands on education from my father who will always be my hero. My favorite thing about being a farmer is that the majority of the work takes place in the spring/summer which leaves the fall/winter to pursue the local deer and elk population along with the migrating waterfowl. I look forward to being a pro-staff member with Beavertail/DOA while incorporating their products into my guide business where I hope to further my pursuit to get the next generation more involved in the hunting and the outdoors.
